Description

Dolphin Nebula in O3 -- First night out with NEQ6-Pro - excellent tracking but this one takes a lot of light to get good signal to noise ratio. 26x300s at gain 270 with ASI278MM and Mead 80mm refractor+0.85 reducer = 384mmFL. Overprocessed with artifacts showing. Proving you cant get good finals out of poor exposures. Back next year and try again. Still there's a Wolf-Rayet star in there doing its thing spectacularly, and you can certainly see why they call it the dolphin nebula!
