Description

This large, bright, inclined spiral galaxy has a brightercore and a complex, multi-arm spiral structure. Many knots, condensations and dust patches are seen along the tightly wound spiral arms.
Angular diameter: 6.9'x3.5'.
Radial velocity: 1121 km/s.
Distance: 50 mly.
Diameter: 100000 ly.
