Description

This image represents a number of firsts for me. It is my first image from data collected over multiple nights. It is my first attempt at a mosaic image. It is also my first use of AstroPixelProcessor, and I have to say I am very impressed by this software.

APP was able to blend panes together seamlessly, despite large variations in background sky brightness and obvious gradients due to changing moon phase over the time period when the data was captured.

The object itself needs no introduction - M31, The Andromeda Galaxy.

Feedback and CC is very welcome.

EDIT: Lots more data added to the original version which consisted only of 60" exposures. A few 120" exposures, and lots of 180" exposures at the new moon allowed me to pull out a bit more of the outer arms of the galaxy. I think I'm calling this project complete, at least for now.
