Description

This object is a spiral galaxy located 150 million light years away in the constellation of Draco at a declination of +58 degrees. This galaxy spans 4 arc-minutes in our apparent view, which corresponds to an actual diameter of 180,000 light years.

I love the numerous distinct dust lanes that surround the core of this galaxy. On the lower right side, a dust lane appears to extend out radially, which I have rarely seen before.

Many distant faint galaxies are seen in the background.
