Description

I wanted to show the Rho Ophiuchi complex in the context of the dramatic dark nebula Barnard 44. To make a wide aspect ratio image, I combined two panes from the Nikon 200mm lens into a mosaic. This remarkable part of the Southern Sky yields one interesting image after another.
