Description

The Rosette Nebula (also known as Caldwell 49) is an H II region located near one end of a giant molecular cloud in the Monoceros region of the Milky Way Galaxy. The open cluster NGC 2244 (Caldwell 50) is closely associated with the nebulosity, the stars of the cluster having been formed from the nebula's matter.

I don’t usually do this kind of mosaic, mainly because I like to focus on a specific object. But this time, I decided to go with a large 6-panel panorama of the NGC2237 region, showing many details in the nebulosity and around.

It’s also the first time that I used Topaz DeNoise AI, which is quite powerful, especially when used at the beginning of the processing.

Overall, I very happy with the result. This might be one of my best pictures! Advice and criticism are always welcome!
