Description

This object is a beautiful face-on spiral galaxy located 130 million light years away in the constellation of Draco at a declination of +73 degrees. This 10.6 magnitude galaxy spans almost 4 arc-minutes in our apparent view, which corresponds to an actual diameter of 140,000 light years.

Bright blue star clusters are visible in the galaxy arms. The arms are broken up in the mid region of the disk and diffuse in the outer region.

Some faint IFN is visible in the background sky, especially below the galaxy. A number of faint smaller background galaxies can also be seen.
