Description

After having imaged with a DSLR for more than 10 years, last summer I got myself a dedicated Astro cam: The ZWO ASI533MC Pro. This is my first go at M31 with the new camera this October. This consists of 2 sessions: 3-hr session with an L-Pro taken from my Bortle 7/8 backyard and another 2 hours from a Bortle 5 location without a filter.

I used the same stacking and processing steps as my previous M31 image done with my DSLR if anyone's interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trq6DkHueZc
