Description

Although Mars is still close to Earth and who may be photographing the red planet, I am already summing up the season, predicting a long period of unfavorable aura. These photos from July to September are the best I could do and how much I managed to squeeze out of my equipment and specific technique of collecting and processing the material.

It was a success to record the largest shield volcano Olimpus Mons, the Solis Lacus Region or the structure known as the "Eye of Mars", the Valles Marineris web, the dark regions of the southern hemisphere and of course the southern polar cap.

I didn't compete with my colleagues whose photos inspired me to find the best ways to photograph Mars, but I wanted - strange as it sounds - to support them in their efforts to show the red planet in the best possible way.

My photo is a symbolic thank you for all the Mars images on Astrobin.
