Description

One of my favourite DSOs is RCW114, dubbed the Dragon's Heart.  Rarely imaged because of its faintness and large extent, it makes a prime target for my Nikon 200mm f2.  This is my second attempt at a HSO image - this time in "portrait" mode - comprising 15 hours (5hours in each band).  It is any better than my first?  I don't know.  I also appear to be the only person attempting NB imaging (beyond Ha) on this target here.    There is a little [SII] but no [OIII].

Enjoy nonetheless.
