Description

I do not know if this can be classified as a proper "mineral moon", however it is my first moon in colors and it has been obtained simply by pushing the saturation of colors in StarTools.

I have had issues in acquiring a viable color movie, because the ones made with Sharpcap did not return any color after being processed with Autostakkert, so I had to use ASICAP.

Afterward I had problems with wavelet processing in Registax, since this operation apparently made colors disappear.

In the end I used StarTools alone for post-processing the stacked image and its wavelet tool (Sharp) worked better than I expected on moon surface details.

Final annoyance: the sensor was a wee bit too small to accomodate all the moon, but I can live with that.

By the way, pushing color saturation so much (755% in StarTools parameter) ends up pointing out the residual chromatic aberration of the ED lens, visible as a yellowish hue on the most illuminated parts of the Moon's limb.
