Description

Capturing a gravitationally lensed galaxy has been on my list. Big thanks to happylimpet on cloudy nights for sharing how the clone was captured. The lensed galaxy is 10.5 billion light years away and is the furthest DSO I’ve imaged so far. I’m actually shocked that I was able to capture light from this extremely distant galaxy from my Bortle 6 backyard. Hopefully I can add more data tonight as it’s still a little noisy with only 4 hours in so far. Thanks for looking clear skies!
