Description

The Pelican and North America Nebulae (IC 5070 and NGC 7000) are emission nebulae located 1,500 – 2,000 light years away in the constellation of Cygnus.

This is a six-panel mosaic consisting of narrowband data collected between 6 July and 28 August 2019 from a remote imaging rig that is jointly owned and operated by Barry Wilson and me.

Capture details are as follows:

Telescope: Takahashi FSQ 106

Camera: QSI 683 WSG

Filters: Astrodon 5nm

Mount: 10 Micron GM1000HPS

SII: 108 x 1200s

Ha: 108 x 1200s

OIII: 108 x 1200s

A total of 108 hours exposure.
