Description

This was my second long-term summer project. NGC 7331 and its companions (apparently, I learned, are called the "fleas"!).  in Pegasus. This grouping is also called the Deer Lick group. I collected data over 5 nights in July and one in September, when Pegasus was high overhead. The four bright "fleas" are roughly 300 million light-years away, while NGC 7331 is in the foreground at only 40 million light-years. I didn't zoom in too close because there are lots of other faint galaxies sprinkled around.
