Jupiter on the morning of Sat 28 Mar 2020 ADST.

Commencing my 2020 Jupiter campaign with this upload even though I still have last weekend's GRS dataset to derotate.. Had a nice half hour imaging run at dawn yesterday before the clouds rolled in shortly before 6 am.

This WinJUPOS composite combines 6056 best frames from eight recordings taken between 5:24 and 5:42 am Canberra time. Once the clouds arrived seeing deteriorated quickly but I was lucky to already have enough data for WinJUPOS. The planet is still fair distance away with opposition scheduled for 14 Jul.

Gas giant's quiet side is on view here with a number of interesting features across both polar regions. With Mars only 4 degrees away I was planning to hop to it at sunrise but the weather had other ideas.
