Description

Messier 66, an intermediate spiral galaxy, is better known as 1/3 of the Leo Triplet. I rarely see M66 by itself, so I decided to give it some love and show it off.

This image is a combination of 8 hours of luminance taken from my back yard with my C9.25 at a focal length of 1645mm, and color data from my Leo Triplet image from the 2018 Texas Star Party.
