Description

This was a further test of the Altair Variable 1.0 flattener with the Sharpstar 61EDPHII telescope in order to use the telescope at its native focal length. The sensor this time was the APS-C size on the Altair 26C OSC camera. It was fitted by an M63-M48 adapter from TS-Optics to minimise tilt. I've uploaded this so people can make their own judgement as to whether the stars shapes are acceptable at this sensor size.

It was also my first use of the Altair 26C and was guided on a CEM40 using the new multi-star option in PHD2. The filer was an IDAS NB2 passing Ha and Oiii. Channels were stripped in Astro Pixel Processor and combined in PixInsight, using a synthetic sulphur layer built from Ha and Oiii.

45 subs at 240s, with flats, darks and bias.
