Got a new camera as the Sony is just too much to manage. The new QHY 183C is yet another learning curve and this is the first target for the new camera.

So many challenges from my location with LP and fog and also my rig has to sit on a deck so its not the most stable when the wind picks up even a little. My rig is RA only and while I know guiding won't help much I'm into figuring it out and if I don't get PA spot on then that causes problems too.

On this night seeing wasn't great and while we had clear skies it was with lots of upper atmosphere turbulence and that seemed to add noise, then the wind kept knocking around the scope and mount and it meant more than a few bad subs.

Even with the challenges really enjoying the new hobby. The gear and location and weather mean I can't get the best images but I just love taking pictures of all types and I'll eventually make some great ones.
