Description

After looking at the Hubble image of this galaxy, I knew that I would need as much narrowband data as I could get using  my IDAS NBZ filter to try to show the prominent Ha jet coming out of the core. I may go back and add more data at some point, but I'm pleased with how it comes out. I'm also very happy with the colors of it in comparison to the Hubble image as well. Furthermore, I gathered RGB data with my L-Pro and separated the stars for the final rendition. In APP I also extracted the HA channel and recombined it to help make the jet more prominent along with an extra luminance layer. This is a wide field image, but I'm planning on doing a more closeup-zoomed in "Portrait type" variation, and I'll post it alongside of Hubble's image just for some fun.

I hope you like it and as always constructive criticism is always welcome!

Title: A Portrait

Description: I cropped this adjusted color a bit and run it thru a sharpening filter to see what I could do with it.
There are 2 faint galaxies in the outer spiral arm to the 2 o'clock position that I'd be curious as to what their magnitudes are. I can't find their designation or magnitude, so if anyone can help me out there, I'd appreciate it.
