Here is the result of my longest summer project so far, just about 1000 frames in total.
It is a two-panel mosaic containing IC1396, SH2-129 and the enclosed OU-4.
Most of the data was acquired with the help of Samyang f/2 lens. However, the OIII signal in OU4 was still too weak so I had to cheat a little and add a few hour of exposure from my 8" Newtonian.
The palette is generally SHO with some gratuitous color shifts. I decided to keep some green to better showcase the distribution of faint Ha regions.
Overall I am reasonably happy with the result as the data was collected from my backyard in the city. I may re-process the image using the "natural" palette sometime later.
As an option, I included a version with 50% star reduction via Starnet++.
