All of us know this constellation in the sky and when we see it we know winter is knocking at our door, at least in this "corner" of the planet called Germany.
So, is there something special with it? Uhm, no, but, yes, there is! Two things:
1. it is my first attempt on the Pleiades - no kidding!
2. it was the first light for my new photon sucker
So, don't be confused when you look to sky and you don't see them there. You cannot, because I sucked away all photons from it for the next 2 years or so... LOL!
Okay, so far so good. As mentioned, first light for my TS-Hypergraph f420/2,8. The sky was not exactly perfectly clear, though, but there was no moon and there was a lot of impatience building up since the day of purchase to this opportunity for a first light. 13 loooong days elapsed way to slow. I thought it were only 1 day of bad weather per inch of optical opening, not two?!?! So, what the heck??? This is 6 inches only?!?! ;-D
However, after seeing the result of just 1 hour @ ISO200 of collecting light I was astonished to see the result! I am still. This is a great telescope I think and when paired with a iOptron iEQ30 they make a perfect team, I guess. What else to say but, I'm happy! :-)
