I had some issues with this galaxy, it was just a little too small for my
400mm lens. I spent a night imaging and not pleased with the scale and decided to add my 2X teleconverter and start over. Now at f/11 I needed a lot of time. I spent three more nights on it but my subs were not as good as I'd like, focus issues, clouds, etc. I don't have record of exactly how many subs I kept in my initial stacking, but due to some aberrations and trailing in the image I think I was not selective enough. I recently tried to reprocess but had software issues and could not get it to work right. I've struggled enough with this one and invested too much time in processing and it is really too small for my imaging gear so I am just going to call it done for now even if not perfect
I am sure I'll revisit it with more powerful telescope eventually.
