Description

I am continuing on in isolating certain regions within M33. Again, like my previous NGC 604 image, the data consists mainly of Ha and OIII with the addition of RGB stars. I drizzled the data like before, so you will notice my normal image scale of 0.68"/pixel being cut in half. I am still isolating certain regions within M33, so there will be more to come.

NGC 595 is the second largest nebula located within M33 next to NGC 604. Surrounding it is NGC 592 and IC 131 rich in OIII cropped within this frame. NGC 595 is a gigantic region of ionised hydrogen in the Triangulum Galaxy, about three million light-years away. The nebula was discovered by the German astronomer Heinrich Ludwig d'Arrest on 1 October 1864.
