Description

Hello Friends,

is image is the result of a new acquisition approach.

This time I was trying to catch surface, spicules / the rim and proms in one, single shot instead of making a composition out of dedicated surface and prom captures. This was a very interesting approach, since this is the very first time I am able to show all different zone with huge contrast in one single stretch and this reveals amazing structures.  Actually the prom itself is nothing spectacular. The true highlights are the small spicules on the rim.

Please enjoy!
Rüdiger
