      Description

This object's Dec is 34 degrees South and only had two hours period imaging time. I captured the subframes during the 3 AM ~ 5 AM when I was asleep. The ocean cloud will be in the bay for the next couple of weeks after 11 PM, I have cut short the imaging session. I do have enough data for post-processing.

C&C is welcome. Thank you for viewing.

      --- Facts --

The Lobster Nebula, Cataloged as NGC 6357, spans about 400 light-years in the constellation of the Scorpion about 8,000 light-years away from Earth. It is a diffuse nebula and contains at least three clusters of young stars, including many hot, massive, luminous stars. The overall blue glow near the inner star-forming region results from the emission of ionized hydrogen gas. The intricate patterns are caused by complex interactions between interstellar winds, radiation pressures, magnetic fields, and gravity.

This nebula is named Lobster due to its appearance resembling the lobster.
