Description

This mocais is composed of Barnard 33 the Horsehead on the right, and M78 on the left, located in the constellation Orion.

To make this mosaic, I made two panels which were then assembled.
I mixed the H-Alpha and RGB signal with two different filters.

I really didn't think I would be able to do this mosaic in its entirety this season, but the weather probably took pity on us and gave us ten consecutive clear nights... unexpected!

So I was able to gather enough data to make a L(HaR)R(Ha)VB mix thanks to PixInsight.

Exifs of the H-Alpha sessions :
L-Extreme filter from Optolong
89 x 600s per tile, i.e. 15 hours per tile, i.e. about 30 hours in total
40 DOF

Exifs for RGB sessions :
IDAS LPS P3 filter
66 x 300s per tile, i.e. 5h30 per tile, i.e. approximately 11h in total
30 DOF

Equipment:
TS 76EDPH refractor with 0.8 f4.5 corrector (340mm focal length)
ZWO Asi 2600MC Pro camera cooled to -10°C, gain 100
SkyWatcher EQM35 Pro GoTo mount
Control and autoguiding via AsiAir Plus

These photos were taken from my garden in France, Meurthe-et-Moselle, under a Bortle 5 sky.
