Description

Since I [shot M61 back in March](https://www.reddit.com/r/astrophotography/comments/g3c2ph/m61_the_swelling_spiral_galaxy/) before the supernova appeared, I decided to get a quick pic of it last night in order to compare the before and after of the supernova. I opted to stack only 5 frames of my March data in order to have similar SNRs between the images. The data from March was taken through a CLS filter and was in heavier light pollution (Bortle 7, compared to Bortle 6 for the May data) the the SNR is clearly lower despite the same amount of exposure time.
