Description

The Guitar, ARP 105 in the constellation Ursa Major.

ARP 105 is a member of the cluster of galaxies Abell 1185. The outline of the guitar was formed by two interacting galaxies - PGC 33992 (above) and NGC 3561 (below), according to the given image. In the lower part of NGC 3561, there is a jet of ejection from the galactic nucleus, which ends with a blue object, the galaxy PGC 4268312. This ejection has the name “Ambartsumyan Knot”.

Image captured in May and June 2018 from my balcony.
