Description

Finally a clear night, so another globular cluster. I hope to image a few more clusters this galaxy season as I find them interesting to contemplate and difficult but rewarding to process . I think this is about the best I can do with my scopes focal length, 703mm. Next season I'll start all over again with a 9.25"HD which hopefully comes by this August.

M5 is another cluster neighbor in the Milky Way at ~24.5k light years away. M5 has many variable stars in its group.
