Description

Moon was about 97% illuminated and waning. This put the eastern side nicely into view. Mare Crisium is a 8 panel mosaic at 4500m FL, Petavius in revision B is a single panel.

Stacked 200 frames out of 2000 per panel.

New things:

- Collimated my scope with MetaGuide (very nice)

- Focused with my DIY motorfocus (very handy)

- used SharpCap after a long time due to its focus assistants (very useful)

Seeing wasn't the best and I think my focus wasn't stable across the 1h session, temperatures did drop fast. This put the upper half of the Mare Crisium at not-so-good focus.
