Description

This object is in fact a pair of galaxies which are in the middle (who knows) of a collision. The two galaxies are NGC4038 and NGC4039, located at about 65 million light years away. The light I captures, those photons, left the collision scene while on Earth dinosaurs were going extinct. As I normally do for galaxies, I have used a combined narrow and broad band approach to minimize the effects of light pollution in my area.
