Description

First decent night in a while. New Chroma filters are working great. Particularly the OIII 3nm. A little bit of high cloud and wind so seeing wasn't great but like my bubble nebula recently beggars can't be choosers these days. First time shooting this nebula. I think I prefer it in HOO over SHO. Ha is ok, maybe another hour or two would help. OIII needs another two or three. I notice the difference jumping from an FSQ-85 at f/5.3 versus the TSA-120 at a native f/7.5.

Description: Nudged a bit more out of the data. Ran a Deconvolution on the Luminance (Ha) to reveal some detail. Had previously run a LocalHistogramEquilization on the Luminance and did it again but also did a HDRMultiscaleTransform on the Chrominance data which helped reveal some detail in the bright areas. I was less aggressive with noise reduction and just applied a touch to the Luminance. My previous attempts background is a little plastic looking. All combined in Photoshop with some sharpening via High Pass filters. Ditto Colour Balance and Curves to make it pop.
