Description

After a long summer without any astro activities, I picked previously unprocessed lunar footage of the Mare Imbrium region and the crater Plato.

By the way, and to be honest, I also needed a break when editing my first Mars images, which almost drives me crazy... More on this will follow later ... hopefully

The northern rim of the Mare Imbrium fascinates me again and again because of its many different and impressive formations. Sinus Iridum (Bay of Rainbows) in the west, the mighty crater Plato with a diameter of 101 kilometers in the north, the mountain range of the Montes Alpes and the huge valley Vallis Alpes in the east. The impact crater Aristillus is just as fascinating with its clearly recognizable ray system that extends up to 600 kilometers.

Image processing:

SER file with 12000 frames.

Frames selected: 500

Gain: 215

Exposure time 2.1 ms

FPS: 121

As always, I'm looking forward to harsh criticism and helpful hints.
