Description

It is easy to think that anything we photograph in space must have been known about for a long time.  This is not the case here. The squid (which is the blue planetary nebula) and is made up of OIII was discovered in 2011 by the French Amateur astronomer Nicolas Outters. It is extremely faint and only visible with very long integrations times.  I have dedicates a lot of imaging time here in OIII but realistically I could have used double the time.
