Description

This pair of objects, a dark nebula and reflection nebula, are located in the constellation of Ophiuchus at a declination of -21 degrees.  The reflection nebula, illuminated by the 10.6 magnitude star BD-20 4696, spans 3 arc-minutes and is 0.6 light years wide.

I love the deep inky black void of Barnard 62 and how it blocks out all of the background stars.  It looks to be more distant than vdB 110, but no detailed information is available for this object.
