Description

Enormous in radio, active in every band from IR to Xray, an elliptical swallowing a spiral galaxy and already the 5th biggest galaxy in our sky though 13 million light years away, its exciting in concept. A name like "hamburger galaxy" clicks when demonstrating it. The spiral makes for a good test of the sharpness of the photo. And it's bright! So no wonder it's a common target. But (this time) especially a good one to test a new scope on (Quattro 200mm). Taken with a ZWO 178 mono cooled camera.

R 19x120s, G 20X120S, B 18X120S, LUM 33X300S. Processed (for sharpness especially) in Pixinsight.
