Description

Messier 5 Globular Cluster in Serpens seems lost in space, occupying a lonely spot between the rich galaxy swarms of Leo and Virgo and the spray of stars now coming into view in the summer Milky Way. M5 is accompanied by a Mag 5 blue star, HP74975 which has a faint 9th magnitude red companion.
