Bonjour à tous,

Voici une partie de la constellation de Céphée, il s'agit d'une mosaïque de 6 tuiles.

De fantomatiques apparitions semblent hanter ce paysage étoilé. Bien sûr, ces formes sont des nuages de poussière cosmique réfléchissant faiblement la lumière stellaire.
Cela me fait penser à une course cosmique entre ces différents objets.
La nébuleuse visible au centre de l’image s'appelle la nébuleuse du requin (LDN1235)
Au dessus se trouve la nébuleuse du poisson pourri (LDN1251)
En dessous se trouve
le pilier de poussière LDN1217 avec à son sommet VdB152 une nébuleuse à réflexion.
On y trouve également LBN1221 ainsi qu'une petite nébuleuse planétaire DeHt5 (Dengel-Hartl5) accompagnée d'une partie de rémanent de super nova.
Le tout se trouvant à quelques 1200 années-lumière de nous.

Hi there, Here is a part of the constellation of Cepheus, it is a mosaic of 6 tiles. Ghostly apparitions seem to haunt this starry landscape. Of course, these shapes are clouds of cosmic dust faintly reflecting starlight. It makes me think of a cosmic race between these different objects. The nebula visible in the center of the image is called the Shark Nebula (LDN1235) Above is the Rotten Fish Nebula (LDN1251) Below is the dust pillar LDN1217 with a reflection nebula VdB152 at its top. There is also LBN1221 and a small planetary nebula DeHt5 (Dengel-Hartl5) accompanied by a part of super nova remnant. All of this is some 1,200 light-years from us.
