Description

The Fishhead Nebula, in SHO pallete.
2 clear nights in a row, that was a long time ago around here in the Netherlands . Tonight it was only really clear for 3 hours, the rest was worthless due to high clouds.

Ha: 43x6 minutes
Sii: 37x6 minutes
Oiii: 27 x 6 minutes
telescope: Skywatcher 150/750 pds
mount: Skywatcher HEQ
camera: QHY294M
Filters: Baader SHO 6,5nm, new CMOS version.
Processing in Pixinsight, I did a SHO pallete and a Forax pallete and mixed those 60/40%. After that I removed the green with SCNR and the purple halos by removing green on the inverted image.

The new CMOS optimized Baader filters (just an expensive name for improved anti-reflection coating) should be better against reflections. I did find some halos around the brightest stars in this Oiii shot. The old version of the Baader O-iii filters was known for its halos.
Fortunately, I was able to largely eliminate the halos in the O-iii channel with a little clone stamp tool action in pixinsight around those stars.
