Description

Here is the first decent deep space image I have gotten from my 11" Nexstar in a while.  This just over an hour of 1 minute exposures as I wasn't able to find a good guide star with my OAG.  I had about 200 images, but it got windy later in the night and I to delete a ton.  I have been Chromatic aberration
issues with my scope, I adjusted my 2nd mirror placement and re collimated.  It was better, but I still see some issues as my stars look like they have a curtain hanging down of one side.  I probably need to send it in to Celestron, but it scares me to trust UPS or FedEx with something this big and fragile.

Anyway, I thought the Galaxy came in nicely for only 80 minutes of data with an almost full moon.  NGC 7479 is a 11 magnitude with apparent diameter of 4.1. It is estimated to be around 105 million light year away. It is unique in the radio continuum with arms opening in an opposite direction to the optical arms.
