Description

The Wild Ducks Cluster, also known as the Salt and Pepper Cluster, is a fairly large dense open cluster located just to the east of the Scutum star field, which is part of the band of the Milky Way. In this image, I've tried to highlight the vast number of stars in this region of the night sky, to give the subject some context.

This is also first light on my new camera the ZWO ASI-2600MC-Pro, an APS-c format cooled one-shot color camera.
