Description

More Milky Way eye candy, this bright glowing gas cloud and stellar nursery is known to us as NGC281, or the "Pacman Nebula". At some 9,200 light years distance, this expansive object is busy in the business of creating new stars and worlds. It makes me wonder if the first stirrings of life are taking place in any of those newly formed worlds. Our Solar system was borne in such a place.

Luminance = 8: Ha = 4.5: R = 5.5: G = 5: B = 4.5 Hours
