Description

The pleiades, one of my favorite deep sky objects. It’s a relatively “new” group of hot young blue stars, about 100 million years old. It’s a nearby open cluster, 444 light years away. It’s blue due to it being a reflection nebula, light from blue stars is reflected onto the dust clouds surrounding them.
