Description

The Vela supernova remnant is a supernova remnant in the southern constellation Vela. Its source Type II supernova exploded approximately 11,000–12,300 years ago (and was about 800 light-years away) (wikipedia).

In the HOO image, the star color is ok except in the OIII regions - so I tried to introduce the RGB stars in this regions (starmask on LRGB, Pixelmath : HOO on LRGB), but :

'The price to pay for RGB stars in a ha-HOO image is star halos at the edge of the image - probably different vignetting on SHO and RGB channels'.

LRGB : each 5x240sec

OIII : 15x450sec

Ha : 15x 450sec

S : 5x450sec
