Just got the Optec Focuser installed and it is awesome, and the instructions made it easy. I might have to choose another spot for it, but I am running out of room.

I just love the American Made logo on it. Astrophotography is so much more to me than just the photos. I made the mistake early on by buying an Explore Scientific and now I have the cradle rings covering the origin because I just cant look at it anymore. Yeah, things will be more expensive, and it is hard to stomach for a middle class Dad, but I gotta feel proud about more than just the accomplishment of a great photo and 100 likes on Facebook. I love that Chroma is employee owned, and I will support them for that too. I have travelled the world and I know people are not their governments (thank God for that because my govt has bent over and screwed a lot of people and places). I know QHY supports AAVSO an other places, and I am sure others do the same, but I have lived next to the first ever Wal Mart my whole life, and I have seen what searching for the lowest prices does to my soul and our economy.

I look to the stars because I know God is there (everywhere really) and I know God is looking at me too, and man do I wish he would turn away every once in a while.

This post is not to bash on anyone we all have to balance, but if you knew the amount of money I have spent on cannabis the last decade, a few hundred bones extra is just what it is, and I love eating rice (the Arkansas grown variety 😅)
