Description

A miracle happened! Two hours of an open cloud cover. So, Robert, roll up your sleeves and rush to get the gear outside to work. Just two really quick sessions, one with a color camera, the ASI120MC-S and the other with a monochrome camera, the ASI290MM. The ASI120MC-S is officially allocated to the guidescope, but, oh boy, when the air is somewhat stable it produces fine lunar and gas planet images on a 6-inch (and larger) reflector! All color images with IR-cut filter and slighly color saturated in PS, monochrome images with IR742nm pass filter. Moon globe images at F=750mm, all others at FL=1500mm. The original (final) image is a 4-panel mosaic.
