Description

M102, one of the "missing" Messiers", is the last of the catalog's galaxies in my historical archive having recorded all the "interesting" one, barred the ones too south (M83) and those not yet in finished form (e.g. M61). And omitting the large number of elliptical galaxies in Virgo/Coma but we can do without them or can we?

This is an odd one. It is very bright and very concentrated, which would have made it a perfect target for a full FL image, but I didn't take that shot, alas. I also must have messed up the labelling for the colour planes so I am not actually sure that RGB are actually RGB, but they way that I used them in whatever order seems to make sense, stretching the definition of "making sense".
