Description

Lying at a distance of approximately 5000 light years from us in the constellation Gemini. IC443 or otherwise known at The JellyFish Nebula has a unique appearence owed to the type II Galactic Supernova event that occured is uncertain but thought to be somewhere between 3,000 and 30,000 years ago, possibly creating it's central neutron star CXOU J061705.3+222127
