Description

M15 is one of the oldest and most dense clusters known, with both a planetary nebula and a black hole.  It is ~35K light-years distant with a diameter of 176 light-years.   This image has some of everything in it, containing both the cluster, colored star pairs, many small background galaxies, and a taste of galactic IFN.

This image is the first image taken after too long of an absence caused by a move of residence to New Mexico.   I've got a nice dark site in my back yard now!  ;-)
