Description

A single-frame/mosaic hybrid. The combination of GFX-50R and GF250mm/F4 (at F4) is a single pointing composition, while the combination of D800 and RedCat is a two-frame mosaic. The combined FoV of a D800+RedCat two-frame mosaic is similar to the FoV of GFX+250mm.

Rev.C is a single 5-minute exposure from GFX. In the white circle is Ceres, the largest main-belt asteroid. Its magnitude on the day is 7.6. It no longer appears in the deep stacked image, because it moves very fast, and therefore it was removed by sigma rejection during stacking.
